12.04.20 Escape from Alcatraz

The name of this cocktail was enough for me to get the ladder out and harvest the only ripe orange at the top of the tree. As usual, I deviated from the original to use what I had on hand: minced ginger, sliced orange, lime juice, whiskey and triple sec. It made me wonder why ginger and oranges aren’t paired more often.
