04.12.20 Plant Eat Save

Pardon my enthusiasm but here are the seedlings I planted on March 27th, just a little over 2 weeks ago!!! All the big ones will get transferred to the garden plot tomorrow and I’ll keep the smaller ones here until they grow more roots. Soon enough they will be producing late spring and summer crops. In the meantime, here is what I harvested for dinner:

  1. Rosemary for salmon

  2. with lemon balm pesto and a blended collard, cabbage and onion soup. Yes, it’s a lot of green and yes my kids loved it!

Lastly, I’m saving seeds for the coming year. These bunching onions seeds will get put into a paper bag to dry. Then, I’ll shake it to release the seeds and store for next year’s planting.
