04.11.20 Aloe Vera

My aloe vera plant is bright and succulent after the week of rain and I wanted to indulge in a little self love. After harvesting her largest leaves, I used a sharp knife to trim off all the green. It’s easier to do this if you cut the edges first and then cut the leaf into sections as she gets mighty slippery when exposed. Once I had all the green removed, I blended all of the clear middle and saved it in a glass jar. Now, I’m ready to feed my skin; glow straight from the garden.
