12.30.20 Marinated Burrata

I used one of our last lemons for this marinated burrata that got top marks from my family today. I took inspiration from Yotam Ottolenghi’s Marinated Buffalo Mozzarella. He combines toasted fennel seed, lemon zest, garlic, fresh basil and oregano, olive oil, salt and pepper. This all gets rubbed onto mozzarella cheese and tomatoes. If you happen to have homemade sourdough bread, you are in for heaven.
