11.27.20 Banana Leaves for Juanes

We still have banana-less banana trees so we make due with the leaves. Today I made a variation on the Amazonian Juanes that uses bijao leaves. Not having any of those on hand, I instead wrapped a mix of rice, garlic, paprika, cumin, broth and herbs in banana leaves and baked them for 30 minutes at 350. If anything it was a fun contrast to Thanksgiving dinner, including minimal dishes.
