11.21.20 Sage for Black Beans

Have you ever smelled sage after the rain? It’s a bit like the smell of a desert monsoon. I wanted to bring that aroma to dinner. I’m not sure if black beans are the best vessel, but they were the chosen ones tonight. I soaked the beans for 6 hours then I cooked them in our instapot for 25 minutes with garlic, onion, fresh sage, fresh thyme, cumin, paprika, salt and broth.
