10.19.20 Six of Seven Ways to Eat Persimmons: Roasted Persimmons

I’ll be honest, this was not my favorite way to eat persimmons but they combine perfectly with the fall flavors of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. I sliced them about 1/4 inch thick, sprinkled on the fore-mentioned spices, and baked at 400 for 15 minutes. A simple slice of persimmon offers a hint of pumpkin pie in mid-October.
