08.27.20 Latte-Moya
If I was six years old again and could spend my days making fairy houses and mud pies, I would surely be using the cherimoya leaves as my favorite decorative material. They are velvety soft and smell a lot like the delicious fruit that the tree will bear come December. But, as I am a boring adult, I am using the leaves to make frothy lattes in the afternoon. I boil a generous handful of leaves for 10 minutes or so in a cup of water. This reduces down a bit. Then I strain out the leaves and add in an equal part of hazelnut milk and blend it. Oh so good.
