08.03.20 Dried Goji Berries
Fruit tends to ripen all at one time and our goji berry bush is no exception. I harvested our small bounty which was way more than any of us wanted to eat in one afternoon. To dry the goji berries, I blanched them for 30 seconds. This helps to open the skin for a faster drying process. Then I spread them on a parchment paper lined tray in the oven. The internet consensus says to bake with the door ajar at 140 degrees but my oven only goes to 170, so that’s what it is!
