07.31.20 Stumpy Carrots

It shouldn’t be too hard, but growing a decent carrot is stumping me (and the carrots!) It must be a sign that my garden soil is not as freely moving as it could be. Apparently, carrots start to twist and turn and stump their growth whenever they hit an obstacle like a rock or clay soil. They are still tasty and a welcome bit of crunch in my daily salad.
