04.15.20 Leeks
Things feel difficult today. Maybe it’s the never ending plumbing work and a house full of workers during a pandemic? Anyway, I’ll cut myself some slack for thinking that I was growing garlic when they are actually leeks! Good thing I dug one up today because they are perfect for harvesting. It was also a perfect night for simple cooking. We sautéed a chopped leek for 3 minutes and added 2 cloves of minced garlic for 30 seconds, threw in 8 eggs and a 1/2 tsp of paprika and salt. And that my friends was dinner. I hope you will cut me some slack for forgetting to take the last photo. By the time I realized it, we had devoured it.
