04.05.20 Strawberry Guava Leaves

Our strawberry guava tree is right outside my studio (garage and most recently our makeshift kitchen), so I am tuned in to its changes throughout the year. It’s a unique tree in our yard because it produces fruit twice a year, in fall and late spring. Right now the buds are just beginning to show and soon the tree will be bursting with little red and purple balls of tangy delight. Until then, I am brewing the tender leaves to make afternoon tea.
