03.17.20 Latasa Bananas

We all know a family like the Latasas. Eternally chill, not an inch of social awkwardness, and an ease of existence based on simple pleasures of family, friends, good food and definitely good libations. If you don’t have a Latasa family in your inner circle, go and find them. They are probably kicking back at the beach right now enjoying the new pace of no school and less work. The Latasas have three generations of bananas growing in their backyard, planted by Rico’s dad many years ago that are now part of the steady food supply that makes its way from the yard to the kitchen. According to Amber, these “apple crisp” bananas are the sweetest variety you can find, and they are always eaten just as they come, straight from the bushel.
