12.23.20 Diana's Fennel

There is no time like the present to establish good relations with your neighbors. Who knows, it may even lead to edible gifts. Today, Diana brought us these gorgeous fennel bulbs, and shortly thereafter, Nate followed up with a jar of worm tea or farmer’s gold. You might remember the Florence Fennel that I grew last spring. It was about half the size of these beauties. Considering my luck, it was not the time for experimentation, rather I went with a tried and true recipe for Roasted Fennel with Parmesan by Willam and Sonoma, who like the Italians, know what to do with fennel.
