07.28.20 Fennel Water

Besides the tomatoes, the fennel is the one good looking plant in the garden these days. Everything else looks a little spent, hot and bothered. I swear I’m not projecting. Anyway, I thought I’d brew a little fennel tea with the fronds and some strawberry guavas for color. I steeped them in hot water and let the whole thing cool for a couple of hours, just like I did while sipping on this soothing and colorful fennel water.
