04.01.20 Nasturtium Flowers

You are undoubtably walking circles around your neighborhood these days. And, you are undoubtably passing loads of blooming nasturtium flowers along the way since they grow like weeds this time of year. The intrepid crop I picked today was growing between a brick wall and a cement sidewalk. I sautéed some brussel sprouts in my usual way with many minced cloves of garlic in avocado oil, a bit of salt and topped it all with the nastursium flowers. Who can resist a slightly peppery hit wrapped in floral sweetness?
