02.24.20 Mustard Flowers

If you went anywhere in coastal California today, you likely past by a radiant field of mustard flowers. I picked some of this invasive species growing in an empty lot. Then, I harvested the usual suspects from my winter garden; kale, bok choy (bug free this time!), bunching onions and Osaka mustard to make another sauté with mustard flowers sprinkled on top. It was so good, I’m going to make it again for my family at dinnertime.
